The longest time in the making, OMOH is finally meeting the roots of its name (that we borrowed from the unintentionally faggy name of the Russian special police).

With a war started by Russia raging next door – despite the sad circumstances – we think this is a more important collaboration now than ever. We feel strongly that we must be able to keep our ability to see nuance even when faced with the horrors of war.

Popoff Kitchen are long term fighters for LGBTQ+ rights in Russia, co-organizers (together with Veselka in Kyiv) of the Russian-Ukranian queer festival HOROVOD and vocal opponents of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine from the start.

In essence, they are just as much of a middle finger to Putin’s homophobic and megalomaniac regime as we are to Orban’s.
